Registration Module of the CALPHAD 2019 Conference

Registration is closed for the conference, but you can still login if you registered earlier. 

This is the Registration Module of the CALPHAD 2019 Conference to allow you to register for the conference, upload your abstract and securely pay the conference fee. It works like a webshop: select the conference items you need and step through the registration and payment process. Do this also for items with price 0. Abstract submission is an item like the others. You can select more than one items before registration, and you can come back later to add items after login.

Before you start

  • Make sure that you visited the general website of the conference: 
  • Have your abstract ready in the template format defined below.
  • Have your credit card ready if you intend to pay with credit card.

CALPHAD 2019 abstract template

1. Use template provided.
2. Abstract should be no more than 500 words.
3. You should include a figure or graphical abstract.
4. Up to four references may be included.
5. A biographical note of no more than 50 words for the first author should be included.
6. Allowed file extensions are .doc, or .docx.
7. Maximum file size is 4MB, (4096 KB).

Registration and abstract submission

The fastest way to register and pay for the conference is to select one of the passes below. Please refer to the registration information for details about what is included in the conference items.

You can add more conference items before you get to the payment page. To submit your abstract, select the Abstract submission item. After selecting the items you will be asked to register to this module. After registration you can step through the payment process in the same way as you do in a webshop until you get to the confirmation page. The process is only completed after you confirmed your registration/payment/submission on the confirmation page.

If you select only items with zero price (including abstract submission) you still have to step through all the steps to save your data in the system.

Upon successful execution of the payment/submission process you will get confirmation mails and your registration for the conference is completed.

You can add more items to your registration any time later after logging in to your account. If you wish you can submit your abstract first, and come back later to pay the conference fees.

There is a special registration fee for participants completing their registration before and on 2 March, 2019. Registration fee after March will be higher. Registration will be closed on April 5 2019 (deadline extended!) and there will be no on the site registration.

You can pay by credit card, PayPal account or direct bank transfer.

For paying by credit card or PayPal you will be redirected to PayPal site, where you can pay by credit card or PayPal account. For payment with credit card you do not need to open a PayPal account or have one. Your payment is completely safe and secure here, credit card information will only be asked on PayPal's secure site. 

If you choose the direct bank transfer option, you will see the account and bank information during the payment process. This information is also available from a link in the footer after login.
